We Specialize in Extracting Teeth, Especially Your Wisdom TeethThere are times that you might have to get your tooth extracted. It could be due to an advanced dental condition that completely destroys a tooth, rendering it untreatable. You could also want to get rid of wisdom teeth. These types of teeth can cause a great deal of discomfort. Even though most people don't have any problems with their wisdom teeth, some might experience a lot of discomforts, especially if they are growing wrong. Such reasons make it necessary to extract wisdom teeth, something our professionals have specialized in.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

We are highly experienced professionals that are specialized in teeth extraction. If you come to our offices for wisdom teeth removal, we will first examine the tooth and check if you have any infection. In case you have one, we will clear it up before starting the extraction process. Antibiotics are mostly used in this process. Before the process of extracting wisdom teeth starts, our dentists will administer a local anesthetic to numb the extraction area. If the procedure involves removing all of the wisdom teeth, a general anesthetic might be used. A general anesthetic is very powerful, and you will hardly feel anything throughout the procedure. Keep in mind that you should avoid eating several hours before the surgery; it helps your body prepare for the anesthetic.

Upon the completion of the extraction process, you may need stitches. Some stitches may need to be removed after a few days, while some simply dissolve after some time. We will advise you on whether you should come back for stitch removal or if it will dissolve on its own. Extracting harmful wisdom teeth is very important for your oral health. Most people that experience challenges with wisdom teeth don't have jaws big enough to accommodate them. This might lead to conditions like wisdom teeth misalignment. These teeth can also become partially impacted or erupted. Contact our offices for more information on wisdom teeth extraction.
