Tooth Removal

Tooth removal is the procedure done to remove a tooth that is damaged beyond repair from its socket in the jawbone. Removals are also done to remove wisdom teeth that may be impacted or create future problems.

Facial Injuries

Dr. Beckley has a special interest in the treatment and reconstruction of facial injuries. He is on staff at the Stanford Health Care - Valley Care Medical Center and the Alameda County Medical Center and is responsible for patient care and resident education. He is trained, skilled and uniquely qualified to manage and treat facial trauma.

Cleft Lip & Palate

A cleft lip is a congenital defect that occurs when the left and the right sides of the upper lip do not converge properly. It often shows up as a small gap or hole in the lip, although it can, in some cases, extend all the way up the lip to the base of the nose. It may also extend into the bones of the upper jaw.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a condition in which you stop breathing several times throughout the course of the night. These are known as apneic events, and usually only last a few seconds. Every time you stop breathing, you wake up, although you are usually not aware that this is happening.
