Meet Dr. Poage Dr. Jeffrey Poage trained in General Pediatrics and was a Fellow in Pediatric Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He worked for Kaiser early in his career as a pediatric hospitalist. He then moved to the Boston area where he completed his anesthesiology training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. He returned to California to join a small group of twenty anesthesiologists in the East Bay. His group, Medical Anesthesia Consultants, grew extensively over the years, becoming the largest private practice group in the Bay Area. He lives in Danville with his wife and they have two sons. He currently provides mobile pediatric and adult anesthesia care throughout the Bay Area. Dr. Poage is a Past President of the California Society of Anesthesiologists. He has been an advocate for safe anesthesia care and physician wellness within organized medicine. Dr. Poage is board certified in general pediatrics, anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. |
